  • You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.


4. Services and Providers

  • Sort a Home is a platform connecting users to independent service providers.

  • Sort a Home does not guarantee the performance, quality, or safety of any service.

  • All service schedules, pricing, and details are determined by providers, unless stated otherwise on the Platform.


5. Booking, Escrow, and Payment

  • All payments for services booked through the Platform are held in escrow by Sort a Home until the service is completed satisfactorily.

  • By booking a service, you authorize Sort a Home to process the payment on your behalf and release it to the provider once the service is confirmed as complete.

  • Refunds or adjustments will be made in accordance with Sort a Home’s dispute resolution process.

  • You are responsible for any taxes or charges applicable to services booked through the Platform.


6. Cancellation Policy

  • Providers may have their own cancellation policies; these will be displayed during the booking process.

  • Customers may cancel a booking in accordance with the provider’s stated policy.

  • Fees or penalties may apply in line with the provider’s policy.

  • Sort a Home may, at its discretion, intervene to offer partial refunds if a dispute arises.


7. Dispute Resolution

  • Sort a Home encourages users and providers to resolve disputes amicably.

  • If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, Sort a Home will review evidence from both parties, including messages, service records, and payment information.

  • Based on this review, Sort a Home will make a final determination, which may include:

    • Full or partial release of escrowed funds.

    • Refunds or adjustments to the service fee.

    • Account suspension or termination for users or providers in cases of serious misconduct.

  • Decisions made by Sort a Home in disputes are final.


8. User Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.

  • Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or abusive activity.

  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform.

  • Submit false or misleading service requests or reviews.

  • Attempt to circumvent Sort a Home’s payment or escrow systems.

Sort a Home reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.


9. Provider Responsibilities

  • Providers must deliver services in accordance with the descriptions on their listings.

  • Providers are responsible for compliance with applicable UK laws, licensing, and safety standards.

  • Providers must maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

  • Providers must cooperate with Sort a Home during any dispute or complaint investigation.


10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on Sort a Home, including logos, software, text, graphics, and designs, is the property of Sort a Home or its licensors.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Sort a Home content without prior written consent.


11. Liability

  • Sort a Home is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the actions of service providers.

  • The Platform is provided “as is,” and Sort a Home makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or quality of services.

  • Users access the Platform and book services at their own risk.


12. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • By using the Platform, you consent to Sort a Home’s collection, use, and storage of your information for booking, payments, and dispute resolution purposes.


13. Termination
